The following was written in about 2002. The return of the eighties has my finger ridin' high now, baby!
PREMISE:
I was watching Desperately Seeking Susan last night and I realized the the dark ages are not, in fact, over. WHAT the hell happened to us after the 80's? Is there only so much freedom of expression and creativity to go around and we just exhausted it all in one decade?
I am tired of the stress and fear of repression, I am coming out of the closet! Screw flannel wearing sheep, I'm an 80s girl in the truest sense of the word. This forum perports my single minded objective to carry the "Me" generation into the milennium.
Besides, I am all about me anyway and this provides a convenient excuse to give grunge the big finger.
